Contributions to the 21st Symposium on Boundary Layers and Turbulence
We attended to the 21st Symposium on Boundary Layers and Turbulence organized by the American Meteorological Society (AMS) in Leeds, United Kingdom, from 9-13 June 2014. A poster about “Modeling a Mountain wave event over the Pyrenees” and an oral presentation about “Investigating turbulence regimes in the weakly stably-stratified boundary layer with Large-Eddy Simulation” were our contributions to the conference.
A large number of experts in boundary layer took part of the conference dealing with boundary layer topics, such as cold pools, convective and stable boundary layers, surface layer parameters, turbulence parameterizations at all scales and wind energy applications.
