The 1st International Conference on Educational Research – “Education 2019: challenges, trends and commitments” (IRED’19) aims to analyse the immediate future of Education along the lines initiated by the report of the Institute of Research in Education (IRE), Universitat de Barcelona, published in 2018.
Thematic structure
The contents of the debate and presentation of reflections are organised around these three axes:
- Challenges that arise for the Educational system in the coming years.
- Trends: towards where educational policies are oriented.
- Commitments that must be reached in the coming years.

The two days of the conferences are divided in three sessions:
