The Institut d'Estudis Catalans awards the Sant Jordi Awards 2019
The presentation of the Sant Jordi Awards of the Institut d'Estudis Catalans will be on Tuesday April 30, at 12 noon, at the Prat de la Riba Room of the Institut d'Estudis Catalans. Joandomènec Ros, President of the IEC, and Jordi Puigneró, Advisor for Digital Policies and Public Administration of the Generalitat de Catalunya, will chair the event, accompanied by the rest of the governing council of the IEC.
The Sant Jordi Awards have a long historical tradition and contribute to achieving the aim of the IEC to promote high scientific research, mainly that of all the elements of Catalan culture. You can check the relationship of the awarded works in this link.
One of the rewards: The work Atlas dels ocells nidificats in Barcelona, promoted by the Catalan Institute of Ornithology, the University of Barcelona with the Institute of Research on Biodiversity of the University of Barcelona (IRBIo-UB) Barcelona City Council and the Barcelona Zoo Foundation have received the Prat de la Riba Prize, which forms part of the 2019 Sant Jordi Awards of the Institut d'Estudis Catalans.
