The effects of power lines on steppe birds and how to mitigate them

Next November 6 at 4pm, we invite you to the conference by Ana Teresa Marques (CIBIO, University of Porto), entitled "The effects of power lines on steppe birds and how to mitigate them". This talk will take place in Room 5 of the Durfort Building of the Faculty of Biology of the University of Barcelona.
 
Ana Teresa Marques is a researcher at CIBIO, Center for Research in Biodiversity and Genetic Resources, and member of the associated laboratory InBIO. In this session, Marques will share the impacts of high voltage lines on the birds of the steppes and the possible strategies to mitigate them. An opportunity to learn first hand the challenges and solutions for the conservation of these species in fragile habitats.
