Scientific Festival Day: Every year bigger and bigger

The Historic Building of the University of Barcelona is never as busy as the Science Festival day. In fact, it has become an essential meeting for all those who want to know, in a fun and innovative way, the research done at the University of Barcelona. On Friday, May 11, the Rector begins the day thanking enthusiastically for the involvement and dedication of the organization, researchers and volunteers who will have to make it possible for more than a thousand attendees to participate in some 40 activities , workshops or games and learn more about the research done at the University.

The UB Divulga team, led by Marga Becerra, knows that this culminates in a process of many weeks of work. With this, four editions have already been made, and they are aware that the day will be long and intense, but they will glitter with enthusiasm. Many researchers repeat themselves year after year, because it is a unique opportunity to show society the research they do in laboratories, offices or on the ground. This year, many research teams are released at the party and expect, expectantly, that the first visitors arrive.
