Predoctoral Contract: Photoprotection Mechanisms in Parasitic Plants

The PLANTsynergy Research Group, led by Dr. Sergi Munné-Bosch is looking for candidates for a predoctoral contract within the 2025 calls (predocs-UB, Joan Oró, FPU). The project focuses on investigating photoprotection mechanisms in parasitic plants with reduced photosynthetic activity, as well as the balance and regulation of their interactions with host plants.
 
Requirements:
 
  • Degree and Master's degree in Biology or related sciences
  • Good level of English and competitive academic record
  • High motivation for research in plant biology
