OpenMind BBVA Colloquium: «Climate Emergency»
Thousands of scientists from institutions around the world demand new strategies and strong actions to deal with the environmental crisis. In this colloquium, which will give way to a debate open to the public, some lines of action will be addressed that could favor a more sustainable and respectful future with the planet. Jofre Carnicer, from the Department of Evolutionary Biology, Ecology and Environmental Sciences, and the Biodiversity Research Institute (IRBio), who is a member of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and one of the authors of its sixth report (2019-2022); Matthew Liao, of the Bioethics Center of the University of New York (United States), and Ricard Solé, research professor ICREA-UPF-IBE. The session will be moderated by Anna Ortas, from the OpenMind BBVA Communication team.
