IV Bioinformatics and Genomics Symposium,

The IV Conference on Bioinformatics and Genomics annual event is organized by BIB - Bioinformatics Barcelona together with the Catalan Society of Biology (SCB) to gather the scientific community working in the field of bioinformatics. This year will be held on 20 December 2016 in the Auditorium of PRBB. The conference is open to all ages and members of partner institutions have benefits in the registration fee which is reduced to 20 €. The deadline for registration is now open for the entire research community.

 The platform BIB - Barcelona Bioinformatics brings together different research groups research institutes and faculties of the University of Barcelona that address research related to the world of bioinformatics (biomedicine, genetics, pharmacology, chemistry, physics, etc). The institutional representative of the University of Barcelona as part of the BIB platform is Dr.  Julio Rozas, Professor, Department of Genetics, Microbiology and Statistics and a member of the Research Institute of Biodiversity (IRBio) of the University of Barcelona.
