Blanca Figuerola wins the SCAR Fellowship

The study consist in unerstand the vulnerability of Antarctic bryozoan communities to environmental change (AbcChange) and improve the understanding of Antarctic bryozoan diversity and skeletal geochemistry.

She will work under the supervision of Dr J. Stark (Australian Antarctic Division), a marine ecologist and specialist in Antarctic human impacts, and Professor D. Gore (Macquarie University), an environmental chemist who has worked extensively on Antarctic sediments, contaminants and mineralogy including bryozoans.
