9 researchers from the Institute are in the top 2% of the Scientists List 2022

The study led by Stanford University scientists has published a list that includes the top 2% of scientists in various scientific fields. The current version is an update of the publicly available database of more than 100,000 top scientists that provides standardised information on citations, h-index, co-authorship-adjusted hm-index, citations to articles in different authorship positions and a composite indicator.

Separate data are shown for career and one-year impact. Metrics with and without self-citations and the proportion of citations in citing articles are given. Scientists are classified into 22 scientific fields and 174 subfields. Field and subfield specific percentiles are also provided for all scientists who have published at least 5 articles.

Career data are updated at the end of 2021 and data for a single recent year correspond to citations received during the calendar year 2021.

Selection is based on the top 100,000 scientists by c-score (with and without self-citations) or a percentile rank of 2% or higher to the subfield. This version (5) is based on the 1 September 2022 snapshot from Scopus, updated to the end of the 2021 citation year. This paper uses Scopus data provided by Elsevier via ICSR Lab (https:// www.elsevier.com/icsr/icsrlab).
