1str E PhD Symposium
First symposium of thesis students on ecological issues, aimed at helping students and stimulating their interest in other ecological disciplines beyond what they are doing
The symposium offers a great opportunity for students who perform their thesis at a Catalan research center to share and receive valuable comments, both in terms of their ecological work and their presentation skills. The symposium will also be a space to connect and socialize with other students and elderly people.
A panel of three prominent environmentalists will evaluate oral presentations in a relaxed and constructive environment. These researchers will also hold a plenary conference during the symposium. We are pleased to announce Hanna Kokko (University of Zurich), Fernando Valladares (MNCN-CSIC, Madrid) and Rohan Arthur (Nature Conservation Foundation, India) as evaluators and lecturers of this first edition.
Registration: Free
Coordinator: CEAB, CSIC, iCrea, CREAF
Collaborating centers: IRBio-UB, UAB, UdG, ICM, IBE, Museum of Natural Sciences of Granollers
