Foundations and Methods of Natural Language Semantics (FMNLS)

This reading group will be meeting Mondays from 12 to 14h in the seminar room of the former Logic Department, i.e. room 4047. We will be discussing material concerning the foundations and methods of natural language semantics as agreed by the participants.

 

We have started on 10th Oct by discussing sections I-IV of Lewis's "General Semantics", and we will continue with that text in the second session on 17th Oct. When we are finished with Lewis's foundational text, we'll move on to more recent writings.
