Martí Bridgewater Mateu
Universitat de Barcelona (UB)
Hi!
My name is Martí Bridgewater Mateu, and I am currently writing my PhD thesis on vagueness in contexts with practical and normative import, with an FI-SDUR grant under the supervision of Sergi Oms and José Martínez.
I graduated in Economics at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and Philosophy at Universitat de Barcelona, where I also obtained my Master’s on Teaching, specialising in Philosophy. I also obtained a Master's degree in Philosophy & Economics from Universität Bayreuth and another in International Economic and Political Studies from Charles University in Prague.
I have taught courses on Logic and Introduction to Logic (Universitat de Barcelona), and I have also lectured and assisted in courses on Philosophy of Language and Mind (Universitat de Barcelona), as well as more general introductions to analytic philosophy (Universität Bayreuth, Universitat de Barcelona). I have also taught philosophy and social science in high school and worked as a junior researcher in education for the Catalan government.
Besides logic and practical philosophy, I am very interested in the economics of inequality (the gender wealth gap in particular) and the history of philosophy.
