Marc Mela Quílez
I graduated in physics (2016), philosophy (2019), and CCiL Master’s (2022) at the University of Barcelona. I started my PhD in philosophy of science in September 2022 under the supervision of Carl Hoefer and José Antonio Díez. My thesis intends to analyse the epistemological transformations derived from the emergence of new data analysis techniques used in scientific practice. The PhD is funded by an FPI fellowship within the project Reassessing Scientific Objectivity (code PID2020-115114GB-I00)
Besides research, I have dedicated part of my professional career to teaching, especially in algebra and mathematics. I am also interested in contemporary art discourses and their possible intersections with philosophy and science.
