Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona
I am a PhD student in Philosophy at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Before that, I obtained a MA in Philosophy from the University of Turin, taking part in the Philosophical International Curriculum (PIC), and a BA in Philosophy from the University of Trento.
My research area lies at the intersection of epistemology, philosophy of science, and cognitive sciences. I am interested in the concept of bounded rationality, its philosophical underpinnings, and its uses in different scientific fields.
I am currently working on my PhD thesis about the strategy selection task under the supervision of Prof. Thomas Sturm. My research project is funded by a FI grant from Generalitat de Catalunya. I study how reasoners ought to select between available strategies to form rational beliefs. Moreover, I explore how to foster the choice of appropriate strategies with the tools of behavioural sciences.
