The research areas of the members of the Algebraic, Linear, and Differential Geometry. Theory and Applications (GALATEA) group at the University of Barcelona include:

This project is funded by the Spanish Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación, grant PID2019-104047GB-I00, and it is a natural continuation of the previous grant VALLDARAM.

Activities

The Algebraic Geometry Seminar, together with the other groups in Barcelona, meets on Friday afternoons (Seminari de Geometria Algebraica de Barcelona).

The SMGA brings together once or twice a year algebraic geometers (and neighbours) from Marseille, Montpellier, Nice, Toulouse, Barcelona and beyond.
