Los congresos "Waterfronts of Art" se idearon como un medio de relación y networking entre las diversas instituciones de la Red Temática. El objetivo principal era profundizar en una determinada temática, ofreciendo a los jóvenes investigadores un espacio de encuentro y de desarrollo curricular al mismo tiempo que, mediante la participación de ponentes de otros centros que no eran miembros de la red, se ampliaban  relaciones
 The  "Waterfronts of Art"  conferences were devised as a means of relationship and networking among the various institutions of the Thematic Network. The main objective was to deepen a specific topic, offering young researchers a space for meeting and curriculum development at the same time that by speakers from other centers that were not members of the network,relations were widened relations
