Thank you very much for attending TMSB 2022 at the University of Barcelona!
|
After more than two years of covid-19 and a virtual meeting in La Ràpita, we met presentially again in Barcelona. Although our city had been the scenario of excellent editions of TMSB, this was the first time that the meeting was organised by the Electroanalysis Group of the University of Barcelona in the Faculty of Chemistry, at Diagonal Campus. Once everything has finished, we are quite satisfied with the development of the event and we are very grateful to all of you for coming (65 participants from 14 institutions) for the quality of the presentations (2 key-note, 21 oral and 34 poster contributions) and for your active participation along both the scientific and social programs. Now the web has shrunk just to contain the summary of the most interesting aspects of TMSB 2022, while we wait for the next year edition organised by UPVD in Banyuls.

About TMSB
The TMSB started in 1996 at the initiative of Profs. Salvador Alegret (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona), Jean-Louis Marty (Université de Perpignan) and Maurice Comtat (Université Paul Sabatier) to bring together researchers from the Euroregion between France and Spain (Catalonia, Languedoc-Roussillon, Midi-Pyreénées) and nearby areas, with the aim of showing its latest achievements in the field of sensors and biosensors and creating new contacts and collaboration networks between the different groups. Since then it has become an annual meeting, which is held alternately in French territory and in Catalonia, although it has also visited Peñíscola (Castellón de la Plana) in 1998 and Andorra la Vella (Andorra) in 2008. Although the meeting is intended to be of interest to all the scientific community, one of its main objectives is to help young researchers to acquire experience in the public dissemination of their results, and to discuss and ask about the research work with other colleagues, all in a relaxed and friendly environment. Therefore, this edition will prioritize young students to perform oral presentations.
