Narcís Monturiol Medal

"Jordi Alberch, Anna Alberni and Petia Radeva", professors at the University of Barcelona, have been awarded the Narcís Monturiol Medal to scientific and technological merits. The Government of Catalonia awards this medal, institutionalized in 1982, to ten researchers of the Catalan knowledge system foir their contributions to the development of science and technology. The Narcís Monturiol Plaque, which awards a Catalan institution, has been given to the Museum of Archaeology of Catalonia (MAC), a distinguished centre on research, conservation and dissemination of the Catalan archaeological heritage.
