Recently, our group member Carol Estarellas has appeared in the 1st Ranking of Spanish and foreign female researchers working in Spain. This initiative is part of the commitment to gender equality policies of CSIC institution, with the aim to increase the visibility of female researchers and their work. This edition consists of a list of the 5600 female researchers ordered according to the highest h-index and secondarily by number of citations, based on Google Scholar. Carol appears in 3575th position, with an h-index of 24 and 2218 citations. She appears in this list, together with two other importants names of the "Institut de Química Teòrica i Computacional UB" (IQTC-UB): Carme Rovira and Mercè Deumal.
